Job Details:

General Notes

  • Hours per week: 10-15 hours per week.

  • Schedule: Preferably available on Wednesdays from 11-1 pm, other hours are flexible.

Purpose

Assist Center for Learning and Memory (CLM) within the Department of Neuroscience by providing general administrative support as outlined below.

Responsibilities

  • Assist CLM Director with scheduling of meetings and appointments (e.g., organizing scheduling polls online, online sign-up sheets, etc.)

  • Receive and check-in packages, when necessary

  • Perform clerical duties, including data entry and filing

  • Provide service to individuals both in person and via telephone and email

  • Provide general administrative support

Required Qualifications

  • Work-study award for fall 2025

  • Ability to work independently and solve problems

  • Project a professional demeanor

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc.) and ability to use common scheduling websites

Hourly Rate
$15.00

Working Conditions

  • May work around standard office conditions.

  • Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.
