Salary: $75,000 - $80,000

Job Summary

As the Catering Manager for a premier corporate client, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful operations of all catering and pantry services. You'll provide outstanding hospitality, hands- on support for daily catered events and cafe services, and oversee a small team of hourly associates.

 

This position is generally Monday through Friday. While primarily daytime, this position does require evening availability.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute catered services/ events
• Works closely with the kitchen and culinary staff to create menus and provide outstanding service to a diverse group of guests
• Directly manages 4 hourly associates. Trains associates in service techniques, menu presentation, and customer service
• Communicates on various levels to include management, client, customer and associate levels; maintains excellent client relationships
• Performs other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of foodservice management experience
• Catering experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations
• Knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
• Proficient computer and communication skills
