Key Responsibilities

In this challenging yet rewarding role, you are an integral part of what brings our Company's mission to life. You must have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience in and/or with:

1.  Two or more of the following disciplines:        a.  Business analytics        b. Statistics        c. Data verification and validation        d. Data visualization
2.  Applying qualitative and quantitative data analysis methods to business analytics problems. 
3.  Creating data visualization mockups, prototypes of visualizations, documenting work processes and effectively demonstrating products to technical and non-technical audiences.
4.  Interpreting data models and working with a variety of data sources and structures.
5.  Translating customer requirements into project or system specifications. 
6.  Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
7.  Self-starter with the ability to decompose ambiguous problems into actionable plans.
8.  Use of tableau, PowerBI, or similar interactive data visualization software.
9.  Transforming, manipulating, and combining data using a programming language, such as Python.
10. Using a data preparation tool, such as Tableau Prep Builder.11.  Use of Excel and SQL.

Highly Desired Qualifications

Other skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not mandatory to perform the work, include:

• Data derived from technical missions, taskings, collection, processing, analysis, or dissemination.
• Visualization tools, such as Jupyter, Visio, SharePoint, or Confluence.
• APIs.
• Using GitHub, or similar version control systems.
• Using Python or R.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or Information Systems OR 4 years of relevant data analysis experience within the IC or military.

OTHER desired qualities:

• Utilizing critical thinking and analytic judgements and applying programmatic, quantitative, and qualitative methods to identify patterns and relationships in disparate datasets.
• Using mathematical, statistical, or other data-driven analysis to address business questions.
• Interacting with customers to coordinate requirements and resolve data questions. 
• Working independently or as a member of a team to research, organize, and analyze information.
• Documenting workflows.
• Working on several tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision.
• Providing analytical judgement and trend analysis based on research and comparisons with past products.
• Obtaining structured and unstructured data from multiple sources, synthesizing it, and presenting the results effectively and concisely in written and graphic form to internal and external stakeholders.
