The Boeing Company is currently looking for Estimating and Pricing Manager – Estimating Data Analytics  (Level L) to join the team in one of the following locations:

This manager role is responsible for overseeing the Estimating Data Analytics team as part of the Estimating Center of Expertise (ECOE) within Finance Shared Services (FSS). The manager leads the development of independent cost estimates, cost estimating relationships and data analytics and tools for the Government Estimating organization.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manage a team to support the creation of best-in-class independent cost estimates for high visibility, strategic business actions

• Lead the creation and enhancement of data tools and databases used for data-driven estimating on contract proposals, Rough Order of Magnitudes (ROMs), budgetary exercises, and trade studies (design-to-cost, Request for Information (RFI), test or reasonableness, etc.)

• Develop training in concert with other Estimating functions to enhance people capabilities in the areas of data-driven estimating, regression analysis, statistical validation, and data analysis

• Identify opportunities to support internal customers in enhancing the accuracy of cost estimates and improve business decision outcomes

• Support the Vice President and the Director of Estimating in proposal, estimating methodology, tools, and other reviews

• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with the Boeing proposal teams, Business Development & Strategy organizations

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's degree or higher

• 5+ years of experience in a finance, estimating or related role

• 5+ year of experience in performing cost estimating/pricing function

• 5+ years of experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets

• 5+ years of experience in MS Excel and manipulating data tables and formulas

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years of experience developing independent cost analyses

• 3+ years of experience with parametric estimating, regression analysis, and statistical validation

• 3+ years of experience in a role that required excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for CA, PA; VA, WA: $159,800 - $216,200

Summary pay range  for AL, AZ, MO: $149,600 - $202,400
