Overview
The Integrated Business Planning Leader is a strategic leadership role that will build and own the strategy of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) in collaboration with planning partners and across SGWS’s Digital Products Group (e.g., Sales, Commercial, National Accounts). This role will be measured by their ability to synthesize key metrics to cross-functional leadership, and bring to light business insights and health across the E2E value chain. SGWS is at the forefront of enabling Artificial Intelligence into a Digital Product environment to further our digital journey and industry-leading status. The IBP leader will partner closely with Data & Analytics CoE to find opportunities to improve data collection/synthesis, incorporate advanced analytics technology, and automate key IBP outputs. We focus on shaping and implementing end-to-end processes, delivering critical data insights, and measuring benefit realization with a goal of building a data-driven and digitally empowered Digital Product organization. The role will develop the processes, systems, people and metrics to support the business.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and manage an IBP function across the Digital and broader SGWS understanding business direction and needs and develop solutions, roadmaps and assessment of potential business impacts
- Ensure connectivity across all planning journeys with a goal of developing a single source of truth for an executive audience
- Develop, implement, monitor, and report on cross-functional KPIs to ensure effective execution, integration, and performance of IBP process; finalize development and the ongoing integrations with SGWS business units
- Develop and implement required training and certifications for all roles associated with the IBP (including sharing of best practice with digital journey teams)
- Focus efforts on planning processes to improve business and customer value output as it relates to Digital Product
- Support the implementation of standard methodologies across the organization through teaching and coaching
- Design and execute methods to track and measure BU performance data to use for planning
- Collaborate with Digital and broader organizational functions to develop long-range, strategic goals and business and product plans that are profitable
- Develop and support additional projects and strategies for additional tools and processes that can improve operating efficiencies key operational metrics with actions to close gaps to established targets
- Help drive organizational adoption and acceptance to improve control and utilization of resources
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Data Analytics, Business Management, or Business Administration or relevant business experience
- Graduate degree is a plus
- 15 years' combined experience in a Planning, IBP/S&OP, engineering, financial management, sales and general management
- 6+ years of experience in any, but not limited to, of the following: supply chain, financial planning, business planning experience
- 3+ years of experience in any, but not limited to, of the following: Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and/or Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
- Demonstrated experience leveraging Data, Analytics and/or AI to drive business decisions
- Experience working with multiple Digital Product and BU operations strongly preferred
- Expertise in defining planning processes for a diverse organization in Distribution, Supply Ch
