CFO Business Management

<h2>Position Summary</h2> <p>The CFO, Business Management, serves as the senior finance leader and critical member of Focus’s Business Management Leadership Team.&nbsp; This individual will report into Finance (Focus’s CFO) and business leadership with direct finance responsibility for the Focus Business Management segment, which today includes Gelfand, Rennert &amp; Feldman (“GRF”), but is expected to grow. Additionally, the role will entail partnering closely with other business management firms in the Focus Network to share insights and best practices.&nbsp;&nbsp; This role will oversee core finance activities and operations within GRF including planning, budgeting and forecasting, management reporting and business analysis, decision support, and client billing (including pricing).&nbsp; The role will partner with the leadership team to develop and support the strategy to deliver growth and value creation.</p> <h2>Primary Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct, and evaluate the organization's fiscal function and performance</li> <li>Serve as a key member of the business management leadership team, providing strategic financial guidance and influencing decision-making</li> <li>Lead short-term and long-term financial planning and performance management</li> <li>Establish and maintain financial measures and KPIs to deliver insights and actionable opportunities</li> <li>Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports, and financial trends to assist the president and other senior management in performing their responsibilities</li> <li>Lead efforts to drive business and process improvement as the business grows and scales</li> <li>Develop processes for client onboarding, account management and pricing, geared toward increasing profitability</li> <li>Support capital allocation decisions and the evaluation and integration of M&amp;A activity</li> <li>Engage and build relationships within the business as a trusted partner, and help guide and influence outcomes</li> <li>Partner and collaborate with central finance teams on core processes and ensure delivery of shared services required for the business</li> <li>Ensure consistency of process, governance and controls across business management and maintain strong financial stewardship within the organization</li> <li>Build, lead, and develop high-performing teams</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field required, MBA or advanced degree preferred</li> <li>15+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles in large organizations</li> <li>Prior related experience, including operating in professional service organization
