Location: Remote, with occasional travel.
EST and CST time zone candidates preferred. This role will support the Southern US region.
Job Purpose:
The Company is seeking a highly motivated individual who is looking for a challenging career with a fast-growing healthcare services company. This individual will work to pro-actively build a strong pipeline of talent, sourcing and filling positions with the highest caliber of candidates in a timely manner. To be successful in this role, you must be able to identify and secure top talent for the organization, manage multiple priorities and drive results in alignment with the company's mission, vision, values and culture.
Job Duties:
- Manage full cycle recruitment for exempt and non-exempt positions at all levels
- Execute all aspects of the recruitment process, from posting to placement
- Partner with hiring managers to identify position requirements and attract a diverse candidate slate. Ensure those involved in the interview process are well versed in the selection process
- Pre-screen, qualify and interview potential candidates
- Cultivate a pipeline of active and passive candidates for key positions throughout the organization
- Identify creative avenues and sourcing methods to identify "A" player candidates;
- Generates candidate interest through creative marketing and social media efforts
- Makes hiring and salary recommendations based on job profile, core competencies and organizational fit
- Act as a point of contact for staffing related inquiries and provide customer service to internal partners, candidates and employees at all levels of the organization;
- Be able to speak articulately and passionately about the Shields care model, our overall business and our culture; Promote the Shields brand;
- Travel to hospital and other business partner locations to interview candidates;
- Coordinate logistics and attend job fairs and other employment and networking events as needed;
- Utilize Greenhouse (Applicant Tracking System) to ensure appropriate compliance and record keeping
- Make candidate communication a priority so that every candidate has a positive impression of Shields regardless of employment determination
- Other related duties as required and assigned
Experience/ Education:
- Minimum of 3-5 years full-cycle recruiting experience. Healthcare/pharmacy recruiting experience is a plus, but not required
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Human Resources or related field;
- Knowledge of recruiting practices and principles, applicable employment law, pay, benefits, health insurance, and safety laws and regulations
- Collaborative team player
- Experience with an Applicant Tracking System and sourcing tools
- Experience with social media, career boards, and other on-line resources to attract and interact with applicants
- Results oriented. Demonstrated success in identifying high-quality, talented candidates through targeted, highly-effective recruitment strategies and campaigns
- Able to manage in a fast-paced, high volume environment
- Self-motivated, team player with excellent negotiation and people skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service orientation with exceptional abilities in building internal and external relationships
- Time management skills
- Agency experience a plus
