We are growing in Burnsville, MN and have an opportunity for a Materials Planning and SIOP professional to join the team as a Scheduling Analyst IV, Materials Planning & SIOP. In this role, you would participate in the supply and demand planning process and be responsible for leading changes or enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems and improve effectiveness.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Participate in developing strategies for materials planning and SIOP.
Participate in the development of standardized processes within materials planning and SIOP in order to optimize the utilization of business resources and meet customer expectations for delivery.
Support the development of indicators that enable visibility to short and long-term market trends and demand.
Identify appropriate demand streams and supports in establishing data relationship linkages.
Collaborate with product development leaders and sales and marketing teams to develop demand forecasts.
Support planning capacity and fulfillment demand with plant manufacturing operations.
Collaborate with the manufacturing team and lead the development of monthly production volume planning using the business forecast, inventory position, actual customer orders, and the defined capacity parameters.
Participate in identifying and developing new technologies to improve materials planning and SIOP capability, sustainability, and reliability.
Participate in establishing clear and robust metrics to measure progress through process improvements for SIOP.
Owns effective metrics tracking to inform and to drive results and continuous improvement.
Support the development of processes and plans to improve supply capabilities.
Allocate jobs in the system and kit parts.
