Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to drive Tunnel equipment sales through distributors and direct sales opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with an outstanding track record for driving sales. This role will be responsible for developing key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans, as well as managing tunnel projects and providing technical guidance on tunnel orders and layouts.
Major Responsibilities/Activities:
- Maximize sales potential with distributors and/or customers to achieve forecasted sales; develop new accounts; plan and manage sales activities with distributors and customers.
- Support distributors, business development managers, tunnels, and key account teams in working with major oil companies, C-store chain operators, and auto dealers; support non-oil company investor markets as requested.
- Work with distributors to improve their capabilities to expand the Belanger marketplace presence.
- Collaborate with existing Business Development Managers.
- Support establishing and implementing effective sales tools and training programs for distributors that target sales growth, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
- Manage a Salesforce pipeline of opportunities to assist in revenue forecasting and achieves AOP.
- Ensure distributors are aware of OPW VWS policies, procedures, and product lines.
- Encourage distributor attendance at equipment and sales training programs.
- Promote distributor support and participation in the Investor Seminar program.
- Participate in and support the annual OPW VWS Summit.
- Investigate, document, and support the resolution of distributor and customer complaints and issues as they arise.
- Provide insight on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Control expenses within an established budget.
- Attend state, regional, and national trade shows as directed.
- Assist in collecting accounts receivable.
- Support OPW VWS-sponsored customer service initiatives.
Quality Responsibilities:
- Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process, and quality systems.
- Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process, and quality system.
- Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.
- Control further processing, delivery, or installation of non-conforming products until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
