OnsiteJob DescriptionInterprets engineering SW designs and utilizes appropriate software, tools and diagnostic utilities to verify software for sequence, functionality, and standards compliance.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ability to adapt existing code bases in a variety of programming languages. Experience with integrated systems. Understanding of logic structures and syntax
Document and recognize how software is related to program software and systems. Maintain and organize software licensing and project files
Evaluates, generates, and implements problem-solving solutions. For both programming and administrative tasks
Develops realistic work plans, sets goals, coordinates with team, and executes plan within a timely manner. Manages time well and completes all goals within the given timeframe
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas and information clearly. Has the ability to adapt style, listens to and values different opinions
Troubleshoot and problem solve core service and support challenges while applying best practices for documentation, change management, and scripting. Support basic IT infrastructure and networking
Complies with and applies Lab safety policies
Able to execute and create documented procedures

Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
Expert with Coding Languages such as: C/C++, Python, Java, or other comparable languages. Educational and professional experience 5-10 yrs
Expert with file management systems such as Subversion, GIT, BitBucket/SourceTree… Can support as an Information Steward and file structure
Contains one or more IT Certification such as CompTIA Net+, Sec+, etc. OR very knowledgeable about Networking, IT and OS troubleshooting & security
Professional skill and knowledge of Windows OS and Office 365 Tools like: Outlook, Excel, Word
Familiar with connecting hardware and software systems, testing software, networking, and knowledge of electronic concepts
Advanced user with Linux and Shell scripting
Extensive knowledge of Defense Contracting work
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret Security Clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
