Sr Accounting Manager

Job Summary: 

As our Sr. Accounting Manager, you will be an important contributor for the financial operations of our rapidly growing company. You will be managing all aspects of accounting operations. Must be a self-starter and work with limited direction while demonstrating ownership of areas of responsibility and driving solutions and alternatives in a dynamic environment. The position requires strong financial, accounting and management skills and the ability to understand the big picture while being detail oriented.

Responsibilities: 

• Coordinate and oversee the execution of all monthly and quarterly financial statement close processes worldwide in accordance with US GAAP.

• Responsible for reviewing US financial statement accounting records as well as account reconciliations and journal entries.

• Responsible for annual, quarterly, and monthly US entities close items.

• Responsible for the preparation of the consolidated balance sheet and consolidated income statement fluctuation analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis for management and audit review.

• Responsible for technical accounting analysis and related memos such as Leases, Convertible Debt, Related Parties, etc…

• Involvement in special projects, system implementations, upgrades, integrations or process improvements, as needed..

• Maintains oversight within the Company for the accuracy and compliance of accounting transactions and processes.

• Makes appropriate decisions concerning the accounting treatment of financial transactions accuracy.

• Lead the day-to-day financial activities, including timely filing and compliance of sales/used taxes, property tax, income tax and other corporate compliance matters

• Key liaison for external auditors

• Implement best practices and ensure compliance with US GAAP, and policies and procedures

• Ensure key internal controls over financial reporting are designed and operating in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley rules and regulations

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

• 10+ years in related experience

• Technology industry experience preferred

• Demonstrated knowledge and skills in US GAAP

• Experience with various ERP systems

• Strong interpersonal, written and communication skills

• Impeccable analytical and organizational skills

• Ability to work with cross-functional teams

• Ability to multitask, work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy

• Team builder, and good written and verbal communication skills

• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Base pay range for this position

$117,600 -  $212,400
