The Role at a Glance

 

In this position, you will be responsible for performing intermediate preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across one or more of the following trade areas: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or building automation systems. This includes supporting capital projects, responding to emergency service calls, and ensuring all work meets national and local codes. You will work independently on routine and non-routine tasks, contribute to system upgrades, and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and timeliness.

 

What you'll be doing

 

•    Performing routine and non-routine preventative maintenance activity for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or building automation depending on area of expertise.
•    Completing routine and non-routine tasks in capital projects for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or building automation depending on area of expertise.
•    Conducting intermediate break fix activity for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or building automation depending on area of expertise.
•    Participating in on call rotation to respond to facilities related emergencies, equipment failures, and weather conditions during non-routine business hours.
•    Performing routine and non-routine troubleshooting for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or building automation depending on area of expertise.
•    Performing MAC (move/add/change) activity including installing appropriate electrical circuits, lighting and all data and voice communications lines.
•    Completing intermediate projects for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, building automation, or maintenance construction depending on area of expertise.
•    Performing tasks in accordance with national and local codes and standard trade practices.
•    Delivering routine work independently, in accordance with established procedures and guidelines, in a timely manner and meets deadlines appropriately.
•    Troubleshooting and make necessary repairs for assigned area(s) of responsibility in a timely manner.
•    Promptly notifying management of safety issues or concerns.
•    Meets or exceeds departmental quality and service standards.
•    Note: Rotating call out duty is required for this position. Respond to after-hours and weekend service calls. 
•    Working overtime as needed.

 

What we’re looking for

 

•    High School or GED (Minimum Required)
•    2 - 3 Years of experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, building automation, or general maintenance. (Required)

The pay range for this position is $29.05 - $38.74 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role.
