Cleerly is creating a new standard of care for heart disease through value-based, AI-driven precision diagnostic solutions with the goal of helping prevent heart attacks. Our technology goes beyond traditional measures of heart disease by enabling comprehensive quantification and characterization of atherosclerosis, or plaque buildup, in each of the heart arteries. Cleerly’s solutions are supported by more than a decade of performing some of the world’s largest clinical trials to identify important findings beyond symptoms that increase a person’s risk of heart attacks.

We were founded 7 years ago by one of the leading cardiologists in the world and are a world-class team of engineers, designers, product managers, and data scientists backed by leading healthcare VCs.
We are expanding our software development team and looking for our next addition. Are you an experienced DevOps Engineer with a passion for scaling SaaS applications in the cloud? Are you excited to build and own scalable infrastructure as code? Do you love architecting CI/CD solutions and containerized application hosting? Do you want to use your expertise to build the future of heart disease diagnosis?

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of relevant development operations experience with Linux or Unix platforms
- Excellent knowledge of implementing Amazon Web Services (AWS) solutions with Terraform
- Experience implementing containerized solutions with Kubernetes or ECS
- Working knowledge of database platforms such as Postgres, NoSQL, Redis or similar
- Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD solutions
- Experience working with version control systems such as GitHub
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
Impress us more
- Experience in digital health, specifically with medical devices or medical imaging
- Familiarity with HIPAA/HITRUST security requirements
- Experience with Terragrunt
- Familiarity with TypeScript or React
- Experience maintaining OpenVPN and IPsec tunnels
Responsibilities
You’ll contribute to all facets of the Cleerly platform focusing on scale, performance, and reliability. You’ll work closely with our data science team, other engineers, and a variety of inter-departmental stakeholders to improve our core product experience, Cleerly Labs, focusing on enhancing our ability to execute complex algorithms at scale and bring enterprise workflows for healthcare to life. On any given day you could be doing one of the following:
- Implementing solutions with AWS and Terraform
- Contributing to our CI/CD pipeline and capabilities
- Evaluate and deploy new devops tools
- Working with the information security team to maintain and improve our security posture
- Participating in sprint planning and design meetings
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated foundation of agile, secure software development methodologies and be motivated and dedicated to the goal of providing a safe, high-quality product that is used to diagnose and treat patients in the real world.
Salary: $160,000-$190,000
*Total Target Compensation (TTC): Total Cash Compensation (including base pay, variable pay, commission, bonuses, etc.). We hire employees anywhere within the United States and account for geography when determining base salary.
