Your Role:

During the program, you will actively contribute to developing new materials and applications, as well as enhancing our existing product portfolio in specialty chemicals and high-tech materials. Imagine working in a business with a diverse portfolio that resembles the colors of the rainbow.

Your role in this program will encompass various aspects of R&D, including product development, early research, and application support and development. Starting with an assignment in one of our key locations (Tempe, AZ or Tamaqua, PA), you will then have two more assignments within different parts of our electronics business, including a placement at one of our global subsidiaries. This will provide you with a broad perspective of the specialty chemistry world, exposure to various technologies and applications, and an opportunity to navigate cultural differences and collaborate effectively in a diverse, global organization. Throughout your assignments, you will actively contribute to projects and our core business, making a valuable contribution to the overall success of EMD Electronics.

Who You Are: 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. or Master’s Degree in Materials Science, Organic Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Physics

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Business administration skills
  • First practical experience as a R&D intern in the electronics industry
  • Flexible and collaborative team player willing to go the extra mile to drive projects to success
  • High motivation, curiosity and passion to discover solutions to all kinds of exciting challenges
  • International experience
