Director, Reorganizations​

As the Director for Expedia Group’s Organizational Transformation implementation program, you will be responsible for designing the strategy, policy, principles, and priorities for successful program delivery. You’ll serve as the product owner for the program and be responsible for leading a team in delivering implementation for complex global reorganizations. You’ll set the tone and expectations for how this body of work is delivered, prioritizing business need, leader and employee experience, and simplicity.

What you'll do:

  • Set global policy for how EG will execute organizational changes

  • Proactively assess program’s overall performance, structure, efficiency and identify opportunities for continual improvement in business delivery and leader and employee experience

  • Identify local country requirements and nuances and implement fit-for-purpose solutions

  • Set direction and expectations with People Partner team responsible for program delivery

  • Keep Program owner and People Leadership Team informed on strategy, progress, data, sentiment, and escalations, providing recommendations on program adjustments as needed

  • Own Executive stakeholder management and partner with Geo Leads, BP Leads, COE leads, Comms, I&D, Legal on recommendations and approaches

  • Own holistic view of all proposals and projects in flight, identifying complexities, blockers, and setting realistic delivery timelines based on knowledge of local requirements

  • Define team roles and lead a team of Geo People Team project leaders responsible for end-to-end delivery, keeping them connected on holistic picture

    • Remove barriers during business intake and implementation planning

    • Provide guidance on global and regional approaches, identifying ERB and consultation requirements and ensuring compliance

    • Oversee project team connectedness to local country Geos

    • Ensure project implementation plans are connected and on track, with employee experience in mind while reducing reputational and legal risk

    • Lead regular Geo Focals and Project Lead check-ins on overall program progress and collective projects in flight

  • Work closely with program owner and program manager on workflow and automation needs and delivery

  • Create content and resources that support end-to-end implementation for leaders, employees, and internal team

Who you are:

  • Proven experience in organizational change implementation in complex, global environment

  • Proven experience in employment law, Employee Relations, Policy and Compliance, with knowledge of Labor Relations and ERB consultation requirements

  • 5+ years working as a manager of a team

  • Proven experience in consulting and change management in rapidly changing environment

  • Imaginative, passionate and curious about improving people leader and employee experiences

  • Skilled project manager and effective at orchestrating input across multiple stakeholders

  • Strong bias to action

  • Proven ability to collaborate and influence across multiple partner groups (technical and non-technical)

The total cash range for this position in Austin is $184,500 to $258,000. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $295,000, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience.  Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
