Job Description
- Coordinate the strategic and operational management of services. Account management of 8-10 life science projects ranging from $500m - $2.5bn including Stakeholder and client management, undertake regular client care, ensure service excellence across all project and client satisfaction.
- Schedule and plan management, cost controls, risk management, change and scope management and procurement services. Provide oversight and report to client leadership team on the progress of the projects.
- Identify and act upon opportunities to improve project controls procedures, templates, products and service provided to clients. Share industry best practice processes, playbooks, tools and templates and ensure that key information and learnings generated from each commission are shared across the team.
- Manage all project governance elements relating to the organizations BMS and compliance standards, including regular reporting to leadership on progress, risks and compliance scoring. System expertise including CEP, FMS, Client Care, Credit Control and HS&W.
- Provide input into the formal management of staff (5 directs, 7 in-directs), including recruitment interviews, resource management, performance reviews and staff availability. Coach and mentor staff, assist them to achieve professional designations and career growth objectives and arrange development and training opportunities for all direct reports. Involvement in the companies graduate development plan, including assessment interviews and assignment, management of experience and rotation through disciplines.
- Create bids, client proposals and business development opportunities for both new and existing clients, work with a business generation team and senior management to grow revenue through contract renewals, referrals and service expansion.
- Responsible for margin levels and monthly fee/ resource forecasts tracking for all commissions including maintenance of fee tracking, invoicing, budgeting and managing debt control.

Sr. Project Manager or any other job title performing the following job duties:
- Leading project management commissions, taking responsibility for end to end service delivery, for large complex programs and projects.
- Acting as the key day to day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.
- Advising at a strategic level during the project conception stage, including providing advice on the different approaches that can be adopted in order to successfully achieve the client’s overall objectives.
- Leading the establishment of the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters. Establishing effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilized throughout project.
- Project planning and scheduling, including ensuring the production of the detailed project plan and regular reporting and maintenance throughout the project life cycle.
- Advising upon the procurement of resources and vendors. Leading and facilitating the overall cross-functional project team including managing the flow of project information between the team and client, through regular meetings and written communications.
- Managing the change control process including reporting to the cost management team.
- Monitoring and advising on upon project finances and working with the cost manager throughout the duration of the project.
- Ensuring the production of formal project progress and other reports, including taking a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages.
SALARY RANGE: $183,000 to $200,000/year
