Job Title: Director of Operations

Company: Legacy Transportation Location: (Hybrid or Remote) Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 Annual Salary Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and support the operations team, consisting of approximately 8 dispatchers and planners.

· Manage the fleet maintenance department to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

· Ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards across all operations.

· Collaborate with leadership from other departments to drive process improvements and enhance customer satisfaction.

· Collaborate with the recruiting team to attract and select van operators, ensuring the development of a strong and effective team.

· Contribute to technical and financial initiatives that support the overall efficiency and profitability of the organization.

· Direct budget planning and management to ensure financial health and operational effectiveness.

· Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize operational efficiency and enhance service delivery.

Qualifications:· Strong operational leadership skills· Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in operations management or a similar role.· Strong strategic planning, financial acumen, and analytical skills..· In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements related to the transportation industry.· Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.· Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.· Project management experience with a track record of successful implementation.. Must be willing to travel to Legacy Transportation locations CA, NV, and IL
