Director, HR Business Partner

Geico’s People Organization seeks a dynamic and strategic Director, Human Resources Business Partner to lead and drive people and business initiatives. This critical leadership role requires a commercially minded, highly collaborative professional who excels in a fast-paced environment. As Director HRBP, you will be a key driver in shaping and executing HR strategies that align with the evolving business strategy of Geico.
Location:
This is a hybrid role, requiring on-site presence of 3 days per week at Chevy Chase, MD or Manhattan, NY offices.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain deep, influential relationships with senior business leaders, aligning HR strategies with business objectives.
Demonstrate strong business acumen, root-causing issues, and matching people strategies to business strategies.
Drive initiatives to improve organizational performance, collaborating with key clients to ensure structures align with business goals.
Lead efforts for the performance management process, including compensation planning, high performer recognition, and talent development.
Ensure effective partnerships with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) for timely delivery of services and support to client groups.
Foster a climate of inclusion, integrating diverse thoughts to develop plans and solutions suited to evolving circumstances.
Work with clients to define talent management needs, designing and implementing programs contributing to long-term success.
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of progressive Human Resource management experience in roles of progressively increasing scope within matrixed, high-growth organizations.
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience required.
Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including recruiting, hiring, benefits, compliance, talent, compensation, employee retention, and engagement.
Excellent communication skills and ability to coach, influence, and partner with employees at various levels.
Demonstrated experience in leadership coaching, complex facilitation, conflict resolution, change management, and organizational design and development.
Experience providing consultation to Senior Management on strategic and tactical HR-related business matters.
Preferred Qualifications:
HRCI or SHRM Certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
Experience in a strategic HR role with executive-level interface and a high degree of executive influence.
Significant depth in Workforce Planning, Organizational Design, and Talent Management.

Annual Salary
$133,000.00 - $207,000.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
