Director, Cloud Infrastructure

SOCi, the CoMarketing Cloud for Multi-Location Enterprises, is currently looking for a Director, Cloud Infrastructure to be responsible for growing and developing an incredible team of talented and motivated engineers with high expectations around individual ownership and impact. We are looking for a Director that will lead the team on projects for automation, continuous deployment, and be directly responsible for uptime.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Own the end-to-end availability and performance of key services and build automation to prevent problem recurrence
• Lead a team to automate response to all non-exceptional service conditions
• Develop and foster a healthy and collaborative culture with other teams outside of Cloud Infrastructure Engineering
•  Lead by example, mentor the team and establish credibility through quality technical execution

What You’ll Need to be Successful

• Remote Opportunity: Ability to work 100% remotely 
• Must Have:  
• 7-10 years of management experience leading a Cloud Operations / Site Reliability / Production Engineering team working with globally distributed teams in a fast-paced environment
• 7-10 years experience in running SaaS services in production
• Experience implementing a strategy shifting from an infrastructure-focused to an Automation / AI-focused model
• Experience with Cloud Security compliance and audits
• Excellent communication skills within and across teams
• Detail oriented. The ideal candidate is one who naturally digs as deep as they need to understand the why
• Demonstrated understanding of:
• Cloud Services, such as AWS and GCP
• Enterprise Architecture, Service Dependencies, and CMDB best practices
• Linux / Windows Server Platforms and Architecture
• Container orchestration such as Kubernetes
• Monitoring & logging tools such as Datadog, ELK, Splunk, etc
• Willing to adapt to changes in the job description as deemed necessary by the business and accept all other duties as assigned
