About the Job:
Are you ready to spice up your career with a role that melds your digital prowess with a passion for efficiency? As Taco Bell’s DAM System Strategist, you’ll be the maestro behind our Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, orchestrating the seamless flow of our creative assets across the digital landscape. You’ll be at the heart of our e-commerce initiatives, ensuring our image processes are not just efficient but dynamically responsive to resource constraints. This role is pivotal in managing user roles, cataloguing, safeguarding, and disseminating Taco Bell’s digital treasures, driving productivity across the board.
The Day-to-Day:
- System Integration: Lead the charge in integrating our DAM system into all workflows, understanding and optimizing current processes and user interactions.
- Asset Management: Maintain a meticulously catalogued asset library, complete with detailed usage rights and timely updates.
- Creative Process Implementation: Define and embed creative processes into the DAM, including asset deletion protocols upon license expiration.
- File Structure Maintenance: Continuously refine file structures to align with business and workflow requirements.
- Access Control: Ensure assets are easily searchable and accessible only to authorized personnel, with robust mechanisms for managing access permissions.
- Search & Application Efficiency: Develop intuitive systems for easy asset search and application, enhancing user experience.
- Usage & Licensing Data: Publish clear, up-to-date usage and licensing information, ensuring compliance and uniform content usage.
- Content Uniformity: Apply timestamps, automate content expiration, restrict channel assets, and enforce company-wide content policies.
- Metadata Management: Ensure all assets include proper metadata for enhanced searchability and analytics.
- Collaborative Liaison: Act as the bridge between internal and external creative/digital development partners.
- Continuous Improvement: Constantly ideate on improving digital business efficiency and productivity, leveraging the DAM system to its fullest potential.
Is This You?
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
- 4+ years experience in information technology, with at least 1 year of DAM system administration.
- Proficiency with DAM software (e.g., Canto, Bynder, Adobe). E-commerce and digital experience are essential.
- Creative workflow comprehension must have an understanding of the users and how varying stored assets and features would be most beneficial to drive digital business.
- Excellent written and verbal skills, capable of translating technical issues for non-technical stakeholders.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
- Experience in planning and managing work using agile methodologies and frameworks.
- Proven track record of working effectively with globally distributed teams.
- IT Service Management: Familiarity with IT Service Management practices.
