Summary
The Digital Supervisor is responsible for executing the company’s goals and objectives to meet deadlines in the most effective and efficient manner. They are responsible for the continual assessment of production processes to ensure the team is operating at the highest level of speed and quality to meet client expectations. The supervisor ensures all team members are knowledgeable of the manufacturing goals/objectives and are actively engaged to ensure they are being met.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Responsible for daily production, quality, and personnel functions to ensure that work is completed on-time and within quality standards
Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
Proactively notifies other departments/managers of work delays, missed deadlines, etc.
Responsible for inventory accuracy within the department
Ensures equipment is maintained and submits new-equipment requests for review
Responsible for hiring, termination, discipline and performance management including daily approval of employee timecards
Ensures and enforces safety requirements and documentation
Responsible for production layout of physical workstations for maximum workflow efficiency
Identify and develop employees with the talent to contribute to the company
Performs other duties as assigned

Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
Strong analytical and decision making skills
Requires knowledge and experience of Digital technologies, Screen Printing, Laminating, and traditional print management
Excellent coaching, facilitating, and counseling capabilities
Ability to lead a cross functional team and complete projects as laid out
Ability to prioritize workloads and work within tight deadlines
Ability to demonstrate and apply PD’s workplace values
Flexibility to travel between multiple PD locations
Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment
Education/Certification
2 year technical/business degree or equivalent experience
Experience
3 to 5 years lead/supervisory experience in a production/manufacturing environment or similar
Experience providing daily work direction to hourly/shift workers
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Walking, sitting, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. may be required throughout the workday
