Software Engineer Specialist - JAVA/Full Stack

Responsibilities:​

• Perform Java development within a microservices architecture: back-end code (business model code, data access, flows), unit test code, test scripts, and HTML/JavaScript front-end code

• Write effective APIs contracts and API implementations

• Participating in the design and creation of scalable software

• Work as part of a development team in a fast-moving environment within a continuous delivery model, communicating with Customers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Testers, and other team members

• Participate in regular team reviews assessing each other’s performance and helping to implement continuous improvement activities

• Apply design, coding and documentation standards and write technical documentation

• Diagnose and troubleshoot performance issues 

• Learn new technologies and keep abreast of existing ones 

• Ensure code quality with a comprehensive unit and functional test coverage.

• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency ​

Skills/Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field

• 5 to 8 years of software development experience

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role

• Knowledge of front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)

• Knowledge of back-end languages (e.g. Java, .Net, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Next.js, Node.js)

• Experienced in Spring Boot 2 and higher framework.

• Familiarity with databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MSSQL), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design

• Work with messaging based frameworks (RabbitMQ) using JMS
