👩💻🧑💻 As a Data Modeler at Qonto, you will:
• Lead the design and implementation of normalized data models for our banking operations domain (transactions, cards, banking ecosystem) • Create a single source of truth by precisely defining banking data entities and their properties, ensuring data stability and governance across the platform • Develop a structured methodology for data normalization that focuses on understanding banking data in its natural state, rather than its consumption patterns • Balance between normalized data models (for stability and governance) and denormalized views (for analytical efficiency) • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders (Backend, Product, Customer Support, Ops teams) to ensure banking data models meet both technical and business requirements

• Data Modeling Expertise: Strong experience in designing and implementing both normalized and denormalized data models, with a deep understanding of SQL and data architecture principles • Technical Proficiency: Expert-level SQL skills and experience with modern data tools (DBT, Airflow, or similar). Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes • Knowledge Sharing: Passion for sharing technical expertise and best practices with team members. You enjoy mentoring others and contributing to the team's collective growth • Business Acumen: Ability to translate business requirements into robust data models while considering future scalability and maintenance • Communication: Strong ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and explain complex concepts simply
