The Role

Intern must be available to work full time (40 hours/week) during the 10-week program

 

Program Dates: May 29 – August 7, 2026.

Location: This position is fully remote / work from home in the continental US. 

Work Authorization: US Work Authorization required for this role.

 

Program eligibility is contingent on the candidate’s commitment to the entire 10-week program. No exceptions will be made.

The Main Responsibilities

Lumens Enterprise Operations team is looking for a Data Analyst intern to join our network implementation team. This intern will assist with data analytics and report development next to a Senior Data Analyst on the team. You can expect to help contribute to initiatives like forecasting and regression modeling. This is an excellent opportunity to get hands on experience in the telecom industry 

 

Main Responsibilities 

• Assist with data gathering, analytics and cleansing 
• Build out power BI dashboard 
• Assist business leadership in decision making for network implantation  

What We Look For in a Candidate

Required qualifications

• Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior level education status at the start of the internship.
• Graduating August 2026 – May 2028
• Preferred fields include but not limited to: Computer Science, Data Analytics, MIS, Math or Statistics

Proficiency and understanding of:

• MS office suites 
• Excel, Visual Basic
• SQL, DAX, and Power BI experience is a plus 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Comfortability interacting with different levels of leadership and presenting solutions 
• Unafraid to ask questions to find solutions  
• Thinks outside the box to challenge the norm 
• Works to think of creative solutions to challenging problems 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 
• Ability to multitask while working in fast paced environment 

Compensation

Internship compensation ranges depend on each individual’s level of education, geographic location, and experience/qualifications aligned to the role.

Hourly Based Pay Range:
Min: $ 26/hour
Max:  $ 38/hour
