Job Summary

Operates and monitors equipment for media preparation, purification, and aseptic operations, and ensures adherence to good manufacturing practices and safety guidelines in biochemical manufacturing.
Hourly Range: $24.97- $26

Responsibilities

The Specialist performs some or all of the following accountabilities as assigned:
• Preparing media, fermentation, cell culture, buffer solutions, purification, aseptic operations, cleaning and preparation of autoclaves, glassware and components.
• Cleaning, sterilizing, batching, and monitoring of tanks and fermenters.
• Operating filtration, fill-finish, and liquid chromatography equipment.
• Operating computers for process control and data entry
• Following standard operating procedures and GMP guidelines.
• Recognizing and reporting abnormal events or circumstances.
