The HRBP is responsible for supporting the corporate headquarters and coaching leaders to effectively manage their teams. This position will be aligned with the FAST office, which stands for the Field Advisory and Support Team. The individual in this role will provide advisory support to our six regions across the United States, assisting with key initiatives and offering expert guidance to ensure the smooth execution of projects and strategies organizational-wide. As the “FAST” HRBP for compliance, employee relations, records retention, and governance, this role manages these functions for the “FAST” office while aligning guiding principles, and policies for all regions. The individual will collaborate with division business and HR leaders to consolidate, align, and optimize compliance, employee relations, records retention, and governance functions to achieve synergy and scale for future growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coach and guide corporate employees and non-executive leaders.
  • Manage employee relations issues and identify solutions for team effectiveness initiatives within the headquarters office.
  • Lead employee relations efforts for the corporate office.
  • Develop frameworks and guiding principles for employee relations to be adopted across divisions.
  • Coach divisional HR leaders on complex employee relations matters and coordinate with employment counsel as needed.
  • Set the structure and policy for E-Verify, immigration processes, workplace postings, background checks, and reporting (AAP/EEO).
  • Manage execution of compliance processes for the headquarters office and develop national guidance for regional execution.
  • Ensure consistency and compliance across regions.
  • Lead employment policy development and guideline creation.
  • Collaborate with leaders to align and update employee handbooks.
  • Ensure consistent policy distribution and adherence across regions.
  • Maintain compliance through audits and ongoing tracking in partnership with divisional HR leaders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience) required.
  • Preferred certifications: HRCI or SHRM.
  • Advanced degree such as an MBA is a plus.
  • 10 years of progressive human resources experience.
  • At least 3 years of people leadership experience (matrix leadership acceptable).
  • Experience in acquisitive organizations requiring influence, collaboration, and management of dotted-line relationships.
  • Strong influence and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build effective partnerships with diverse leaders.
  • Business acumen to drive collaboration across divisions.
