Job location: Edison, NJ and various unanticipated locations throughout the US. Travel and relocation required.

Job duration: Permanent position, Full time, Mon - Fri, 40 hours per week.

Wage: $114,525.00/year

Job description: Establish and evaluate structural design concepts for truck and off-highway vehicles. Provide mechanical support for design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation of parts, assemblies, components, sub-assemblies, tooling, and final products. Support development team to provide innovative design and manufacturing solutions, mechanical cost reduction ideas, structural concept designing through CAD modeling, and manufacturing drawings.

Education and experience required: Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or related field, plus two years of engineering experience. The two years of engineering experience must include one year of experience using GT-Suite, Ansys Fluent, MATLAB, Simulink, Simscape. In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent), we will accept a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) earned through any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience, as determined by a professional evaluation service. All experience may be acquired concurrently. International travel is not required. Travel is limited to domestic travel to various LTTS and client facilities based on project needs.
