Job Purpose and Impact
The Account Manager will participate in face to face and remote selling to the company's new and existing industrial customers. In this role, you will help assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions. This role is part of the Industrial Technologies sales, which represents a broad portfolio of our bio-based products, serving diverse customers in industries such as cleaners and solvents, tires and rubber, paints and inks and others. Our Cargill BioIndustrial Commercial Team partners closely with our customers to change the sustainable and bio-based material landscape. This is a crucial role on the team, working with medium-sized customers, which are nimble and capable of implementing meaningful change.
Key Accountabilities
- Development and delivery of sales proposals and conducting detailed presentations for effective product demonstration.
- Build a business plan for each account developing strong client relationships.
- Plan daily activities, including customer visits and establish quantitative and qualitative objectives to achieve.
- Follow market and competition evolution, relaying information to senior staff.
- Responsible for developing and maintain a robust opportunity pipeline through prospecting and account development.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two years of related work experience
- Ability and willingness to overnight travel up to 50% of the time
Position Information
- Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
- Travel is required to cover the area of responsibility.
- Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.
