Job Description
Position: Information Assurance Analyst
Location: Woodlawn, MD(Hybrid)
Type: Full Time / Contract
Key Required Skills:
- Seeking a candidate with 5 – 8 years’ experience in administrative system user access management who can evaluate Financial Management security profiles and settings and determine where there are risks based on appropriate user provisioning of access to the system. Can work with auditors to address findings and document resolutions. Can manage the analysis of large volumes of data to identify risks and threats appropriately and rapidly to the system access for a large-scale federal financial management solution.
Position Description
We require an analyst who has:
Security Expertise to:
- Evaluate user profiles and settings to identify potential risks associated with system access.
- Validate that there are no conflicts of access in the user profiles (e.g., confirm a user who should have “read only” access cannot process a transaction).
- Evaluation appropriate Separation of Duties in the user profiles (e.g., confirm a user does not have access to bank account codes and payment approvals).
- Has knowledge of system access and login protection/password management.
Data Analysis to:
- Identify appropriate tools and solutions to handle the analysis of large quantities of data.
- Understand nuances of the financial system processing to determine access for a specific role should have (and not have) in the system.
- Determine the best tools (access database, SQL queries, other data analysis solutions) to evaluate large volumes of sensitive data.
System Expertise with:
- Oracle Federal Financials
- Requires experience with Federal Financial access management and profile management, expertise in
- Database Query tools (i.e., SQL), MS Excel and MS Access.
Skills Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
- 5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst working with Oracle Federal Financial Systems
- 5 – 8 years’ experience in administrative systems or access management who can evaluate
- Financial Management security profiles and settings.
- Understanding of Agile software development practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills.
Education:
- Typically requires BS degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience. ·
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust
