Production Repair Supervisor

Summary of Responsibilities

The Production Repair Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and working alongside a team of Repair Technicians to ensure efficient and high-quality repairs. This role is hands-on, requiring the supervisor to actively participate in repair tasks 30-50% of the time while also managing team performance, workflow, and adherence to quality standards.

Pay: $26/hour

Essential Job Function

• Supervise and Lead – Oversee daily repair operations, provide guidance to technicians, and ensure production goals are met.
• Hands-On Repair Work – Actively participate in pallet/production repairs alongside the team as needed.
• Quality Assurance – Inspect completed repairs to ensure compliance with company specifications and customer requirements.
• Team Training & Development – Train new and existing team members on repair processes, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Workstation Management – Ensure tools, materials, and workstations are organized, stocked, and maintained for efficiency.
• Safety & Compliance – Enforce all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Reporting & Documentation – Track repair metrics, identify areas for improvement, and report any operational issues to management.
• Other Duties as Assigned

Qualifications

Education, Skills, and Experience:

• 2+ years of supervisory/leadership experience
• Hands-on repair experience and ability to train others in the use of tools such as pneumatic nailers, reciprocating saws, and angle grinders.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move 65lb pallets or materials repeatedly.
• Standing for extended periods while performing repair tasks.
• Full range of motion required for bending, reaching, and lifting.

Work Conditions:

• Work is performed in a fast-paced, labor-intensive production environment.
• Requires repetitive lifting and hands-on repair work.
• Exposure to noise, dust, and physical demands of repair work.
