As part of Aura’s Product Marketing team, you’ll own and drive a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for Aura products with the goals of increasing brand equity, customer subscriptions, and revenue. You’ll partner closely with various cross-functional teams such as Product, Design, Analytics, Acquisition and more to drive business goals by developing insights-driven products and marketing campaigns.
The Product Marketing leader we’re looking for is customer-centric, data-driven, well-organized and results-oriented. They should have experience in a continuous ‘test-and-learn’ environment and data-driven decision making. This leader is an excellent cross-functional collaborator with strong written and oral communication skills.
Day to Day:

Define and lead go-to-market strategy through research-driven customer segmentation and competitive/market analysis; includes owning the messaging and positioning, pricing, user education strategy, channel mix strategy, and creative development

Collaborate with product managers to define product strategy and roadmap to align on key value propositions; includes validating addressable market, jobs to be done for the target customer and their willingness to pay

Work cross-functionally with multiple teams—such as Product, Design, Analytics, Acquisition, CRO, Sales, Brand and PR—to drive product GTM launches or campaigns. Must be highly-organized, collaborative, and deliver campaigns built on sound financial targets and high-quality marketing assets

Help drive business growth and improve ROI by identifying and testing new marketing channels and promotional campaigns; includes partnering with the Marketing Acquisition team to develop channel test plans and/or promotional campaign strategies, which may involve developing and testing assets like landing pages, digital ads, and more

Ensure all go to market functions (i.e., Sales, Marketing, Customer Success) are commercially ready, including understanding of product functionality and messaging

Conduct research to understand the market landscape, competition, and customers of your product. Package insights to drive ongoing differentiation and share with Product, Marketing, and customer-facing teams.
What you bring to the table:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, MBA a plus
-
8+ years experience in marketing
-
3-5+ years in product marketing within DTC or B2C
-
Experience running promotions, pricing, and packaging tests

Experience in messaging/positioning, market research, A/B testing, cross-functional project management, and multiple marketing channels

Experience with marketing data analytics, channel optimization, or financial forecasting
Additional preferred qualifications:

Experience in SAAS
- Possess great passion and empathy for the customer. Demonstrated ability to utilize user research and data to drive actionable insights to inform marketing strategy and improve the consumer experience

Demonstrated ability to drive measurably successful product launches and campaigns

Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced dynamic environment, and be flexible to changing business needs

Pay range for this position is $110,000 - $160,000 but may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location.
