Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst, Americas, reports directly to the VP Finance, Americas. You will work with the VP Finance to review and critically assess financial data submissions from the Publicis Latin America businesses, strengthen financial and business controls in the Latin America markets, and complete several projects that improve the North America businesses.

• Work with VP Finance, Americas to review HFM financial reporting submissions from Latin America entities to the Groupe, including monthly actuals, annual budgets and rolling forecasts for completeness, consistency, and accuracy
• Perform periodic desktop reviews of selected Latin America entities to ensure supporting files comply with Groupe policies and Best Practices and identifying any potential financial misstatements or business risks
• Analyze offline reporting, ensuring commentary provided is consistent with financial data and comply with established minimum reporting guidelines
• Investigate and resolve issues and discrepancies discovered through analyses
• Recognize risks and opportunities within the reviewed financial data
• Perform ad hoc reporting
• Help with special projects for the region

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of Accounting or Financial Reporting experience
• Experience with general accounting principles and control framework
• Critically analyze financial data and provide concise explanations
• Facility to work and communicate remotely with foreign markets
• Advanced Excel skills (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
• Experience with Hyperion Financial Management
• Mandatory attendance in the New York City office based on Management requirements (3 days per week)

Additional Information

Compensation Range: $58,500 - $88,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
