Job Summary:

The Manager, Global FP&A position will be responsible for leading close, analytics, and reporting of the Management P&L of Actuals for CooperCompanies, as well as supporting the preparation of reporting packages.  This will require collaboration to maintain a standard library of reports for Senior Management and various business partners, inclusive of monthly LT P&L reporting, product-level analysis, trended Revenue and P&L reports at various FX translations and comparison points, quarterly preparation of the Board of Directors’ Financial Report, as well as other various recurring metrics and ad hoc requests.  This role monitors trends in order to formulate strategies and provide insight to key executives.

 

In addition, this position will play a key role in supporting the company’s digital finance strategy, leveraging advanced analytics and financial technologies to enhance decision-making processes.  The ideal candidate will utilize data-driven insights and digital tools to streamline financial reporting and ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.

 

  • Responsible for managing the analysis and reporting of CooperCompanies Management P&L
  • Lead Management P&L close related activities for CVI and CSI
  • Influence the accuracy and effectiveness of the Actual, Forecast, and Budget processes through analytical review
  • Support improvement of controls and processes to increase efficiencies related to Management Reporting
  • Establish strong business partner relationships with worldwide contacts
  • Perform ad hoc financial analyses and preparation of presentations to Senior Management
  • Maintain a standard library of reports for Senior Management
  • Update reports to increase effectiveness for users
  • Assist with maintaining GCOA hierarchies and LT Subject Matter Expert responsibilities

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate and work with all levels within the group including Senior Management
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required
  • Ability to interact effectively with finance personnel in international locations and other corporate functions
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task in a changing environment
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint), Hyperion
  • Proven experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau and Power BI
  • Adept at queries, reporting writing, and presenting findings
  • Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Work Environment:

  • Normal corporate office environment

Experience:

  • 7+ years in Finance

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required, MBA/CPA a plus

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $124,025.00 and $ 177,178.00 per year and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
