B-1B Electronic Warfare System SME Adviser

Responsibilities

We are hiring a B-1B Electronic Warfare System SME Adviser at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota.

 

What you'll do:

• Requires and extensive knowledge of the B-1B Electronic Warfare system as a system, but very extensive knowledge of the Backshop repair of Line replaceable Units (LRU).
• Subject matter Expert of the Integrated Avionics Test Equipment (IATE) as well as extensive knowledge of the Automated Replacement Test Station (ARTS).
• Able to provide feedback to engineering team of issues with the hardware and software, and make recommendations on improvements to said equipment.
• Must adhere to Air Force policies and procedures, and coordinate with engineering for any modifications or work around.
• Must work with team members to ensure testability of the System on the aircraft and the back-shop are consistent.
• An extensive knowledge of the Band 8 Source (RFS) and a basic understanding of the recent upgrades and future requirements.

Qualifications

What you'll need:

• DOD secret clearance
• Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD, in lieu of degree, 12 years of military and or applicable experience is acceptable. 
• Experience with B-1B Electronic Warfare system
• SME in Integrated Avionics Test Equipment (IATE)
• Knowledge in Automated Replacement Test Station (ARTS)
• Extensive knowledge of the Band 8 Source (RFS)

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
