Job Description

lastminute.com is looking for a Product Manager for the Hotel Supply area team to be based in Chiasso. The platform is responsible of serving the Hotel static and dynamic content received from different suppliers. As Product Manager, the candidate will have the chance to guide development teams with data and insight, building up a roadmap with the goal of having a direct impact on the group’s digital assets.

Product description:

• PM will be responsible for building a scalable platform in order to cover all consumer needs
• In addition PM will look after the team daily functional/product requirements provided by stakeholders
• Help stakeholders with solving daily problems related to properties online presence

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Cooperation with another product owner and a product manager to meet company’s OKRs 
• Supporting development team in their daily tasks
• Strategizing and presenting ideas to stakeholders.
• Defining product features according to customer needs.
• Leading the development process.
• Acting as the main point of contact between teams and stakeholders.
• Managing and prioritising product backlog items.
• Assisting the scrum/product development team to meet the goals of each sprint.
• Adjusting and improving each iteration of the product before release.
• Identifying areas of improvement.
• Keeping customers and stakeholders informed of the status of the product.

Qualifications

Essentials

Technical experience:

• 2+ years of product management experience
• Full working proficiency in spoken and written English is the must
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to use data to make informed decisions
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Proficiency in SQL
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for travel and knowledge of the travel industry
• Work in multicultural diverse environment & different time zones

Desirable 

Preferable:

• Experienced in hospitality industry (hotel experience, OTA)

• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work with data
• Solution-oriented approach
• Great communication & people skills (managing a lot of stakeholders)
