Position Number: 125910 Position Title (Classification Title): Assistant Professor 125910 Working Title: Assistant Professor - Robotics - Department of Intelligent Systems and Robotics Job Summary: The UWF Department of Intelligent Systems and Robotics invites applications for a full-time tenure-trackposition, at the assistant professor level. While recruiting in the area of robotics is currently a priority forour program, outstanding candidates in all areas of intelligent systems and robotics will be considered.Qualified research-intensive applicants can be considered for a joint appointment with IHMC.Successful candidates are expected to pursue an active and externally funded research program, to teach graduate courses, to supervise graduate students and to be instrumental in the development of the ISR Ph.D. program. Department Intelligent Systems and Robotics FLSA: Exempt Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or closely related field from an accredited institution at the time of employment with a strong commitment to teaching, academic research, and service.
