Build business Senior Leadership Team and HR partnership across Americas’ portfolio (United States, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, and Brazil) to support delivery of value-added HR services and ensure HR strategies and action plans are in place to meet the business objectives for Gutor. Responsible for HR processes within North and Latin America’s countries. Lead internal and external relationship with employees, managers, stakeholders, vendors. Manage divestment project to ensure smooth transition. Define and lead Americas HR strategy. Implement US Professional Employer Organization (PEO), Canada Third Party Vendor, and Latin America Employment of Records business model for outsourcing HR processes such as Payroll and Benefits, scoping, assessment, and implementation. Develop global / local HR policies and processes set-up, design, and execution. Lead HR system implementation (Workday recruiting, HCM, and absences modules) and develop change management plan at global scale. Design and implement recruiting, succession planning, and talent development cycle policies and processes. Execute existing day-to-day HR processes by overseeing and coordinating activities with multiple external vendors across the region. Bridge global Gutor practices to local HR requirements to drive best practice execution. Lead and support organizational development strategies including change management, conflict resolution, teambuilding, coaching, and/or other necessary strategies. Coach and develop all levels of management through performance feedback and effective management processes. Supervise performance management process in assigned portfolio. Consult and train the line managers on HR processes, policies, and labor law. Implement succession plans for key positions and individual career plans for optimal staffing and development decisions. Hire for all positions in Americas portfolio to ensure quality and standardize criteria around the process. Prepare offer package and extend formal offer to successful candidates. Lead pre-boarding and onboarding according to each country regulation and be responsible for terminations and resignations, including executing exit interviews. Hybrid telecommuting permitted; 4 days per week in office. Foreign Language Requirement: Advanced / professional Spanish required.

REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires a master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or a related field, plus 8 years of experience as a Human Resources Analyst, Human Resources Specialist, Human Resources Consultant, or related occupation in the electrical, manufacturing, or energy industry.  Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with:  (1) Supervising and managing global HR Projects by leading HR business partners across different regions in HR business transformation, HR policies design, HR processes optimization, HR systems implementation, HR asset management, and divestment activities; (2) Implementing and coordinating multiple external HR Managed Services Providers across HR business processes within North America and Latin America; (3) Executing the end-to-end HR recruiting process, including preparation and planning, sourcing candidates, screening, selecting (interviewing), hiring and onboarding; (4) Leading a team with direct reports to ensure the day-to-day operation of HR processes and HR support to all levels of the organization; (5) Streamlining talent strategies to improve business performance in partnership with business leaders and stakeholders across the region to deliver change management plans and communications at a country and regional level; (6) Performing succession planning, talent management, talent acquisition, employee learning and development, employee relations, compensation, and benefits; and (7) Supporting organizational development strategies including change management, conflict resolution, teambuilding, coaching, and developing all levels of management through performance feedback and effective management processes.
