Summary

SRP (Salt River Project) is seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join its Power Generation Department. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering engineering services in a technically proficient, safe, and cost-effective manner. This role will involve overseeing electrical engineering tasks at Desert Basin Generating Station and occasionally supporting electrical engineering tasks at Coolidge Generating Station.

What You'll Do

• Conduct engineering design work and engineering studies.
• Act as engineering project manager for on site equipment installations and maintenance task.
• Prepare specifications and evaluate bids.
• Prepare recommendation material for management consideration.
• Administer and review work performed by consultants and contractors.
• Deliver concise written and oral reports and presentations.
• Perform on-site field engineering tasks.
• Conduct engineering analyses to enhance operational efficiency.
• Supervise the system health of all electrical systems within the generating station.

• Provide information, answers, and responsible solutions to support the reliable operation of the generating station.
• Represent SRP when contacting customers and outside agencies.
• Write specifications for contract with suppliers of equipment and services.
