We are hiring! AtkinsRéalis seeks a Senior Electrical Designer to join our Kirkland, WA office.

How will you contribute to the team?

• Use client software Fulcrum and self-assign work by feeder priority.
• Export walkdown information along with distribution standards that have been assigned from the walkdown to create design.
• Export GIS data into AutoCAD. Confirm field walkdown notes and ensure mapping, symbology, and field photos match the information that was exported into system. Resolve any conflicts based on photos, and escalate any conflicting information fielding to Project Manager.
• Provide QA/QC peer review for additional design work. Update peer review/QAQC while working with additional AtkinsRéalis employees on deliverables.
• When all design steps have reached FINAL status, export design information for Project Summary Report, Compatible Units, along with Bill of Materials.

What will you contribute?

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Architecture or equivalent technical discipline plus fifteen years' experience, or Associate's degree plus a minimum of twenty five years' progressive drafting and design experience, including at least twenty as a Designer, or HS diploma (or equivalent) plus a minimum of twenty five years progressive drafting and design experience, including at least twenty as a Designer.

SPECIAL SKILLS

• Proficiency in CAD and design software (Inroads, GeoPak, etc.) strongly desired; good technical writing and communication skills.
