As Field Technician you will be executing the operations of ESP equipment and all associated surface equipment in the field, complying with all the integrity / quality and safety standards, as well as compliance with the regulations of the different clients in all fields.

This role participates in all technical events, including supporting the Baker Hughes contract engineering team.

As a Field Technician you will be responsible for:

  • Pulling, installing, and start-up of ESP equipment including inspecting and verifying compatibility of pumps, motors, sensors, cable, and relevant down hole equipment
  • Carrying out all pre-commissioning checks and tests to ensure successful start-up and continuous operation of ESP Equipment.
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing ESP to maximize operation and well productivity
  • Installing and troubleshooting VSDs
  • Always working with safety as an equal importance to quality
  • Working with other field specialists as a team to ensure all tasks’ efficiency and quality
  • Completing detailed paperwork to properly document all activities performed

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a minimum of 1 year of artificial lift experience
  • Have a minimum of a high school diploma
  • Three years of ESP Field service experience

  • This role is a rotational position that will require 3 weeks on and then 3 weeks off with the option to work more days as needed.
