Job Description

The primary focus of the Administrative Assistant is to provide daily support in the Fabrication unit of WireCo and administratively support all departments while following all policies, procedures, and work instructions.  

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Process and submit invoices for payment
  • Filing
  • Greet and assist visitors
  • Assist in making barcodes and tags
  • Produce and provide reports to Site Leader or leadership team as needed
  • Optimizing operational processes and procedures for maximum efficiency while maintaining quality standards to identify inefficiencies and/or areas of improvement
  • There may be other duties that are work-related tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office suite
  • Basic office skills for filing, copying, and scanning
  • Fast-paced environment requires detail orientation, ability to perform multiple tasks, and a high degree of initiative
  • Ability to resolve problematic situations resourcefully

Work Environment/Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in a seated position for long periods of time
  • Close and distant vision with the ability to adjust the focus with or without corrective lenses
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push, and/or pull and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 40 pounds.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually mild to moderate levels

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including verification of past employment, criminal history and educational background. 
  • Must be willing and able to pass a post-offer drug screen and physical (if required)
