As a Senior Manager, Supply Chain, this pivotal role is essential for shaping the future of moulding capacity, ensuring that every block produced meets the demands of eager builders around the world!</p><p></p><p>In this exciting position, collaboration with global Manufacturing VPs will be key to aligning supply and demand for moulded components. The journey involves crafting optimal moulding activity plans that resonate with production capacities, all while navigating the complexities of investment planning and business strategy for the years ahead. With a focus on continuous improvement and analytical insights, this role promises to be both exciting and rewarding.</p><p></p><p><b>Core Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Based on Finished Goods supply plans and production capacities submitted every S&amp;OP cycle, the optimal Moulding activity plan must be made and agreed with global Moulding Capacity Owners.</li><li>Identify and analyze constraints and opportunities to make decision documents with recommendations for S&amp;OP considering all trade-offs for the full value chain.</li><li>Drive necessary investments in new Moulding capacities (machines &amp; special equipment) in order to ensure support for sales plans as well as investment scenarios.</li><li>Responsible for creating decision documents and documentation going into Feasibility Review meetings and Pre-SOP meetings related to Moulding in The LEGO Group.</li><li>Make recommendations for future moulding footprint and long-term Moulding decisions as part of the Business Planning Process (2-10 years).</li><li>Ensure validity and continuous improvement of the tools used for the different processes by applying analytical insights.</li><li>Ensuring a strong foundation around the Moulding capacity in The LEGO Group's supply chain from End to End, with a simple and coherent approach that ensures an optimal balance throughout the chain by using Operating Model logic for optimising costs and flexibility.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Play your part in our team succeeding</b></p><p>The Global Capacity Planning Team is located in Billund, taking care of setting global capacity across the The LEGO Group supply chain both in terms of activity adjustments (S&amp;OP), scenario capacity investments, and longer term investments (10-year Business Planning).</p><p></p><p><b>Do you have what it takes</b></p><ul><li>Very strong E2E understanding of Supply Chain</li><li>Experience driving and leading projects incl. management of senior leaders.</li><li>Overall supply chain and logistics understanding to drive key trade-off dialogues.</li><li>Since solutions to constraints and supply dilemmas most often require cross-functional involvement, the owner of this role must navigate in an environment of conflicting interests, and in spite be able to drive the right decisions that serve The LEGO Group best.</li><li>Due to the mix of high complexity in data analysis and the practical layers of production constraints, the owner of this role must exercise critical sense in all data before making recommendations</li><li>Great communicator both orally and in writing with supply chain experts as well as production managers and technical engineers, and obtain the needed level of insight into both areas in order to be successful.</li><li>Educational background: Masters Degree and minimum equivalent work experience of at least 6 years in an global business environment.</li><li>Ability to travel internationally around two times a year</li></ul><p></p><p><b><u><span>The position is based in Billund, DK and relocation support is not offered for this role.</span> </u></b></p><p><span>#LI-RR1</span><span> </span></p><p></p><p>Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
