Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter / Wallpaper Hanger / Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can handle a variety of finishes and light carpentry tasks. This role involves working on interior (and occasional exterior) projects to maintain and improve the appearance and functionality of properties.

 

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting, wallpapering, or finishing (patching, sanding, priming, caulking)
• Apply paint, stains, and finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
• Measure, cut, install, and remove wallpaper accurately and cleanly
• Perform light to moderate carpentry work (trim, baseboards, doors, framing, repairs)
• Repair drywall, wood, and other surfaces as needed
• Read and follow work orders, drawings, and specifications
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Use tools and materials safely and properly
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and clients
• Complete projects on schedule while maintaining high quality standards

Qualifications

• Proven experience in painting, wallpaper hanging, and carpentry
• Knowledge of surface preparation, finishes, and materials
• Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install materials
• Familiarity with hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
