You Are:

The IT Audit and Compliance Governance Sr. Analyst will serve as a team member supporting IT audit readiness documentation efforts, adherence for NIST 800-171 and compliance leading practices through a variety of work efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting a documentation governance and monitoring plan for the IT Organization to prepare for upcoming audits and assessments.
  • Analyzing business process documentation and supporting IT control walkthroughs to understand system functionality and supporting processes or controls.
  • Preparing IT controls document to ensure compliance with requirements to be used as audit evidence.
  • Creating and editing technical and functional documentation.
  • Applying IT system control knowledge to applicable documentation.
  • Ideal candidate should be a self-starter and meet established timelines with minimal oversight.

Here's What You Need:

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1+ years’ experience supporting internal or external audits and/or readiness programs.
  • Experience preforming and reviewing IT controls, especially for access control and security management.
  • Experience with collecting and evaluating documentation for audit readiness.
  • Able to demonstrate experience with writing business process or system narratives
  • Excellent communication, verbal and written skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work collaboratively as a team member.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly assimilate business process and technical information through walkthroughs and existing control documentation to prepare for upcoming audits.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian

Bonus Points:

  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification or working towards an audit certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge and understanding of NIST controls and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), a plus.

 

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
