Who We Are

Juvenile Court Programs (JCP) is within the Court Programs Division in the Office of the State Court Administrator at the Oregon Judicial Department (OJD). JCP develops, implements, and evaluates juvenile court programs for statewide application in the courts and use by the public and government stakeholders. Juvenile Court Programs includes the Citizen Review Board (CRB), the Juvenile Court Improvement Program, the Juvenile Delinquency Improvement Program, the State Tribal Partnership Program, and Family Treatment Courts.

CRB is Oregon’s foster care review program. This statewide program conducts federally mandated case reviews of children in foster care. The reviews are conducted by boards composed of volunteers appointed by the Chief Justice of the Oregon Supreme Court. There are 58 boards in 33 of Oregon’s 36 counties and approximately 250 volunteers serving on the boards. Each board can have up to five members and two alternate members.
