• Responsibilities. Responsible for creating repeatable, interpretable, dynamic, and scalable models that are seamlessly incorporated into analytics solutions and deployable into Production for use by the business. Articulate trade-offs between methodologies, languages, and assets and make a strong recommendation for the workstream. Propose features to include in the master table and have a growing understanding of trade-offs in model building (e.g., granularity of features vs time, processing power, insights). Deliver a workstream (e.g., model validation, model explainability) end to end with limited guidance from colleagues. Be confident in a growing range of leading methodologies and can adapt and apply them to solve the problem independently. Proactively pull in expertise where new approaches or methodologies are required. Propose and design plots/outputs that optimally display data to guide problem-solving independently. Clearly articulate the ‘so-what’. Write good, accurate production-ready code. Grow proficiency with a large number of Python libraries. Follow software development and MLOps best practices. Check own work using best practice model validation/QA approach. Understand risks and how to mitigate them.

 

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

• Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field of study plus five (5) years of related experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and three (3) years of related experience.
