Team
Product Operations | Technical Training & Enablement designs, develops, and delivers learning solutions for ServiceNow’s Product organization. We are passionate about making ServiceNow an incredible place to work for every employee. We partner with leaders in our Cloud Services, Engineering, Product Management, Technical Support, and other technology teams to help them realize their business priorities by delivering measurable outcomes through technical training and enablement.
Role
As a member of the team, you’ll partner with teammates and key stakeholders to evaluate, design, develop and deliver effective learning solutions to empower our Product organization. You’ll apply knowledge and understanding of the essential aspects of curriculum design and development to execute learning strategies, deliver learning outcomes, and maximize the learning experience.
The successful candidate will be a curious, analytical, resourceful, team-oriented, and intrinsically motivated individual with a strong instructional design background
What you get to do in this role:
- Conduct needs analysis that leads to effective design strategies aligned with company and organizational goals and articulates the measurable business impact of the learning solution.
- Design high quality learning programs and curriculum strategies for a variety of delivery types (eLearning, video, instructor-led, blended, etc…) in partnership with individuals and groups, across multiple organizations.
- Acquire and synthesize knowledge and information from subject matter experts, process owners, peers, documentation, and other sources to create innovative design strategies.
- Lead other Instructional Designers/Curriculum Developers in identifying and applying instructional modalities, techniques, and methods for planning, designing, and developing instructional content for highly complex enablement programs.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Learning Business Partners to coordinate activities for geographically dispersed teams, define project timelines, identify priorities and risks, and resolve issues and blockers.
- Adhere to appropriate instructional standards and best practices to create storyboards for eLearning and video. Receive and incorporate feedback from peers and subject matter experts.
- Write scripts for voice over audio and instructional text.
- Work collaboratively with eLearning Developers, Multi-Media Developers, and graphic designers to turn storyboards and scripts into finished deliverables.
- Conduct course evaluations to determine effectiveness of training and incorporate measurement and assessment results into future projects.
- Anticipate how changes in the organization or industry may impact the team and identify innovations to the way we design, develop, and deliver training.
- Contribute to thought leadership on instructional design best practices and champion enhancements/improvements/innovations to design processes and lead in the implementation efforts of these improvements.
