Senior Research Associate
Primary responsibilities Include:
- Collaborate across teams to design and optimize T cell engineering protocols both viral and electroporation based
- Development, establishment and optimization of processes and methods for T cell engineering
- Designing and executing cell-based functional assays
- Tracking and compiling results in an electronic notebook
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able embrace change, while working to produce key deliverables in accordance with project timelines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate results to a diverse cross-functional audience
- Proactive, self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills, appropriate sense of urgency and the ability to work independently.
What you have to offer.
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in life science, Biomedical Sciences or a closely related field with 3+ years of industry experience.
- Experience with safe lab practices and the handling of biological material especially leukopaks
- Strong cell culture and aseptic techniques, as well as experience with the cultivation of primary (human) cells
- Experience with primary T cell-based assays: cytotoxicity, cytokine secretion, cell proliferation assays
- Experience in multi-color flow cytometry.
- Independent, flexible, self-motivated, and the ability to work well with others
