THE TEAM

Join our Core Backend Team in Paris, where you’ll pilot the transverse backend chapter. As a Backend Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of designing and implementing scalable backend systems while fostering backend excellence across teams. You’ll work with a variety of internal stakeholders, including DevOps, frontend, product, and data teams, to ensure seamless solutions.

• Tech Stack: Symfony PHP, REST APIs, AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB), SQL
• Monitoring tools: Grafana, Sentry
• Collaboration Tools: Slack, Jira, Confluence
  

YOUR MISSION

• Pilot backend architecture and innovation: Design scalable systems using Symfony PHP, REST APIs, and serverless AWS architectures.
• Foster team excellence: Mentor engineers, define best practices, and empower cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.
• Drive collaboration: Partner with DevOps, product, and data teams to ensure seamless technical integration.
• Shape the backend chapter: Define and enforce standards, advocate cross-team initiatives, and resolve technical bottlenecks.
• Enhance backend capabilities: Stay at the cutting edge of technology, exploring Python, GoLang, and emerging trends to drive AB Tasty’s growth.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Proven expertise in Symfony PHP, REST APIs, and serverless architectures. 
• Advanced proficiency with AWS services, especially Lambda and DynamoDB.
• Knowledge in SQL and database design.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana.
• Strong leadership and project management capabilities with cross-team success.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
• An entrepreneurial mindset focused on driving business value and innovation.




Bonus Skills:

• Knowledge of Python, GoLang, Node.JS, GCP, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and hexagonal architecture.
• Familiarity with microservices and event-driven systems.
