The Oregon Health Authority (OHA), Oregon State Hospital(OSH), program in Salem, Oregon has a fantastic career opportunity for a Facilities Maintenance Specialist to perform both routine and emergency maintenance repairs throughout all areas of the hospital. Duties encompass a broad range of trade skills, including basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work. The technician constructs and modifies cubicle partitions, performs minor plumbing repairs (e.g., unclogging toilets and sinks), and replaces lighting fixtures and lamps. Additional responsibilities include creating and completing work orders in a timely manner, performing flooring and tile repairs, replacing broken glass, and installing various wall-mounted items such as bulletin boards, dispensers, and shelving. This role is essential to maintaining the safety, functionality, and overall comfort of the hospital environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
